The Commonwealth Institute Announces Expanded Leadership

Nonprofit focused on women’s entrepreneurship and business

growth expands leadership

BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS, July 1, 2013 – The Commonwealth Institute, a nonprofit  organization that helps women CEOs, corporate executive and nonprofit executive directors build successful companies and organizations today announces the election of Jennifer Potter-Brotman, Managing Director Russell Reynolds Associates as Chair of the Board and Kirk Arnold, CEO Data Intensity LLC, as Board Member. Jennifer Potter-Brotman succeeds Pamela D.A. Reeve as Chair. Ms. Reeve will remain on the Board as Vice Chair.

Jennifer Potter-Brotman is a senior leader in the Human Resources practice and Corporate Officers sector and a member of the Diversity practice of Russell Reynolds Associates. Prior to joining Russell Reynolds in 2004 Jennifer worked at Humphrey Enterprises, a private equity/venture capital firm, where she served as a principal. Before that, Jennifer was the President and CEO of The Forum Corporation, a leader in corporate training and education.  Jennifer began her career in publishing with Little, Brown and Company and has a successful track record leading growing businesses, setting strategic direction and consulting with key clients globally. Jennifer received her B.A. in English literature from the University of New Hampshire and attended the Advanced Management Program at INSEAD.

Kirk Arnold brings deep experience in technology and services leadership to her role as CEO at Data Intensity. Prior to joining Data Intensity, she was COO of Avid, a technology provider to the media industry. Before joining Avid, Kirk was the CEO and President of Keane, Inc., then a publicly-traded billion dollar global services provider. Before Keane, she held senior leadership roles at Computer Sciences Corp, where Kirk was President of the Consulting and Systems Integration Division,  Fidelity Investments and IBM. She was also a founder and CEO of Nervewire, a technology and consulting service provider. Kirk is active in the technology and business community, currently serving as the Co-Chair of the Massachusetts Technology Leadership Council, on the Board of the Commonwealth Institute, and on the Board of Cramer Marketing, a digital marketing service provider. She received a Bachelors Degree from Dartmouth College.
