What’s Happening
The programs and events at The Women’s Edge are focused on helping participants develop professionally and personally. We offer a variety of schedules and formats, giving you the freedom to participate in whatever way works best. Our programs and events bring together leaders across industries to develop skills, grow networks, advance careers, and collaborate towards a more equitable future for all. With our variety of offerings and engagement options, everyone can get involved.
Leadership Forums
We offer forums for CEOs, executives, and nonprofit executive directors – each a peer group of 8–10 women from non-competing organizations who meet regularly in confidential, professionally-led half-day sessions.
These forums serve as an informal advisory board, providing a safe, confidential space to explore challenges and strengthen leadership skills. Members are carefully matched to groups that fit their background and needs, ensuring each session is both relevant and professionally facilitated.
Strategies for Success Leadership Development Program
Strategies for Success is a leadership development program designed to enhance the skills of high-potential women leaders, and equip them with the tools they need to become successful managers and senior executives.
Our Spring 2026 program kicks off soon on March 3rd – offered both in a hybrid (MA based) format and a fully virtual (nationwide) format so any woman leader can participate!
Massachusetts Women’s Leadership Impact Study
The goal of our Women’s Leadership Impact Study is to expose barriers and catalyze progress in women’s leadership, focusing on the development, retention and advancement of women in companies across the state.
By sharing your data around women’s advancement, you help us establish a baseline, uncover gap areas, identify and scale best practices, and ultimately yield real progress across the state.
Newly Launched: Lois Silverman Scholarship Fund
You can empower the next generation of women leaders in the nonprofit sector by contributing to the Lois Silverman Scholarship Fund.
