Having a mentor was a key to success for South Florida women leaders surveyed recently. Of those who are now business owners, chief executives and president, 62 percent report being mentored. All say they’re mentoring others, according to the 2011 survey of Florida’s Top 50 Women-Led Businesses, released Wednesday by The Commonwealth Institute South Florida and University of Miami.
