As we head into summer, let’s take a step back and reflect upon the past season and the upcoming year. I would like to thank all our members, sponsors, and supporters for all your efforts to make TCI a strong presence in South Florida. We had a challenging year as I know many of you did but we remained committed to our mission and delivered some phenomenal programs. As we end our fiscal year in June, we celebrated with the Top Women-Led Business in South Florida event with over 225 women in attendance. We managed to make our financial goal and the auction surpassed all expectations. A special thanks to PNC Bank and The Miller Family Foundation for underwriting this event and also to FIU for another year of excellent research and five year partnership on the Top Women Event.

The summer months are a time for planning for TCI. We have some big plans in the works so stayed tuned for announcements on speakers and programs.

  • We are expanding into Palm Beach County and have plans to start a forum group in the next couple of months. Making TCI services available in  three counties in Florida!
  • Upcoming Programs include;
  • September 14th – Business Rhythms featuring Kim Marcille speaking on    her book “The Science of Making Things Happen: Turn Any Possibility into Reality”
  • *We have secured Ann Fudge as a speaker for February 8, 2011! Ann served as chairman and chief executive officer of Young & Rubicam Brands from 2003 to 2006.  Prior to joining Young & Rubicam Brands, she worked at General Mills and Kraft, where she served in a number of senior executive positions.

Thank you for your continued support and interest in TCI. We look forward to seeing you all in the fall.
