The Center for Leadership at Florida International University (FIU) will be unveiling a list of Florida’s top 50 woman-led businesses and their impact on the state’s business community and culture. The list, arranged in order according to revenues, is part of a survey of the leading business women in Florida who hold top executive positions. The Commonwealth Institute has partnered with the Center For Leadership at FIU for a third year to create this Top Women-Led Businesses survey.  Completed by over 165 women, the survey investigates growth potential and management style as well as mentors and professional development. The results of the survey reveal the key characteristics possessed by women leaders, including strategies, career progression, personal motivation, work habits, and life choices, which are then thoroughly examined and analyzed. “The data collected from the survey always identifies interesting trends and highlights the most accomplished women in South Florida.”, states Jodi Cross, Executive Director.

Join us for an exciting afternoon of networking, awards, and recognition as we honor Florida’s Finest Women-Led Companies!  The luncheon recognizes the top women and we unveil the results of the survey and honor the Top 50 women who made this accomplished list for 2008.
