Role/Position

TCI, the premier women’s business leadership nonprofit organization in Florida, has a unique opening for a Programs & marketing manager who is looking to join our team and be a key contributor to helping us achieve our next level of growth. The position reports to the Executive Director. While the position is Florida based, the team works remotely but meets regularly throughout the South Florida area. We anticipate that 75% of the work will be done virtually and 25% in person at meetings and events. The primary role and responsibilities will be focused on overall organizational marketing, communications, project management, event planning, and administration.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Excellent organizational, communication and analytical skills
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience in marketing and business development
  • BA/BS in Marketing or equivalent work experience
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills as well as proofreading
  • Creative, collaborative, proactive and resourceful
  • Must be able to work independently and remotely and demonstrate a strong work ethic
  • Must be proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Canva and Constant Contact. Graphic Design experience in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator a plus.
  • Familiarity and working knowledge of social media and CRM platforms
  • Event planning and organizing in person events and on-line platforms
  • General proficiency in financial practices and reporting

Responsibilities

Marketing and Membership

  • Support Executive Director and serve as first point of contact for all potential and current members
  • Develop member retention campaigns and outreach
  • Articulate benefit statement and membership selling strategy
  • Manage membership records and general member billing process
  • Manage email marketing calendar
  • Design templates and deploys emails in Constant Contact
  • Develop content and publication calendar for TCI Snapshots monthly update communication
  • Update all membership contact information across all platforms and CRM

Communications

  • Prepare all corporate partner, sponsorship proposals and packets
  • Manages social media calendar across all programs and platforms; creates original content, including graphic design; research and publish external links
  • Monitor newsfeeds for updates on members, BOD members, and member companies
  • Manage and update TCI website and on-line member connection portal
  • Design graphics and templates for TCI general marketing campaigns, collateral and newsletters
  • Write creative briefs, review press releases, maintain branding standards

Programs, Events and Project Management

  • Project management & logistics for event and preparation for monthly workshops and key larger events, including the Top 100 Women-Led Businesses, Leadership Luncheon, Leadership Impact Survey, as well as (2) Leadership Development Training Programs.
  • Design email invitations, templates, and graphics for events
  • Manage events onsite

Administration

  • Attend board and committee meetings and take notes as necessary
  • Manage, monitor and update program budgets and accounts receivable
  • Review credit card transactions monthly, creating reports
  • Prepare, distribute, and track communications on behalf of leadership
  • Provide input for monthly financial reports in conjunction with Executive Director
  • Draft RFPs and foundation proposals/applications as necessary
