Role/Position
TCI, the premier women’s business leadership non profit organization in greater Boston has a unique staff opening for a marketing & communications operations coordinator who is looking to join our team and be a key contributor to helping us achieve our next level of growth. The position reports to the Executive Director and will be managed by the Director of Marketing/Programs.  While the position is Boston-based, the team works virtually, but meets regularly throughout the Boston area. The primary role and responsibilities will be focused on overall organizational administration, communications, event planning, and logistics.

Responsibilities
Marketing and Membership

  • Support ED and Dir. Mkt/Programs and serve as first point of contact for all potential and current members
  • Manage membership records and the member billing process
  • Create calendar and deploy emails in Constant Contact
  • Update all membership contact information across all platforms and contact lists

Communications

  • Prepare all corporate partner, sponsorship proposals and packets
  • Maintain organizational social media presence, including Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn
  • Monitor newsfeeds for updates on members, BOD members, and member companies
  • Manage and update TCI website and on-line member connection portal

Programs and Events

  • Coordinate event logistics and preparation for monthly workshops and key larger events, including the Top 100 Women-Led Businesses in MA breakfast
  • Manage events onsite, including setup, registration and attendee management

Administration

  • Attend BOD and CAB meetings and take minutes as necessary
  • Manage and monitor program budgets and accounts receivable
  • Prepare, distribute, and track communications on behalf of leadership
  • Prepare monthly financial reports in conjunction with Director of Marketing/Programs

Qualifications

  • Excellent organizational. communication and analytical skills
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience
  • BA/BS in Marketing or equivalent work experience, a plus
  • Creative, collaborative, high-energy, innovative, proactive and resourceful
  • Must be able to work independently and remotely
  • Must be proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Constant Contact. Design experience is a plus (Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Canva)
  • Familiarity and working knowledge of social media platforms and tools
  • Detail oriented
  • Event planning experience a plus
