The 2015 Top Women-Led Businesses in Florida
In January, we distributed a survey to roughly 5,000 women from businesses all over Florida. Each woman was asked to answer questions relating to what sets women apart as leaders, and their personal and professional success about their company, goals, their leadership journey, revenue, expectations.
Based on their responses and analysis from Kaufman Rossin, we compiled our annual list of the Top 50 Women-Led Companies and Top 10 Non-Profit Organizations, which were revealed at our annual luncheon on April 2.
Based on our 2015 Top Women-Led Businesses Survey, we’ve named the Top 50 Women-Led For-Profit and the Top 10 Women-Led Not-For-Profit Businesses in Florida. The full survey results have been compiled and are available for you to download.
A panel of female business leaders, moderated by Janet Altman of Kaufman Rossin, discussed how women in a variety of industries make leadership decisions, encounter and overcome obstacles and encourage the next generation of ambitious young women. The panelists were:
- Alexandra Villoch, President and Publisher of the Miami Herald
- Ginger Martin, President and CEO of American National Bank
- Kuky Salazar, President of Latin America, Europe and Asia for Private Jet Services
- Gillian Thomas, President and CEO of the Patricia and Phillip Frost Museum of Science
Congratulations to these powerful leaders and companies!
