A special thank-you to TalentWorks for sponsoring and creating the powerful opening video highlighting this year’s honorees.

Annual award highlights women business leaders who are making a significant impact on the state’s economy.

The Women’s Edge, with its partner The Boston Globe, announced the 24th anniversary Top 100 Women-Led Businesses in Massachusetts. The honorees were recognized during a celebratory breakfast event on October 24th. The 100 organizations honored generated over $141 billion in total revenue in 2024, demonstrating that women leaders continue to be key drivers of the state’s economy.

“We are so proud to celebrate 25 years of honoring women leaders who are shaping the Massachusetts economy and paving the way for future generations,” said Elizabeth L. Hailer, Chief Executive Officer of The Women’s Edge. “This year’s honorees collectively employ hundreds of thousands and lead with courage, innovation, and purpose. Their leadership is not only transforming organizations but helping to build stronger, more equitable communities.”

This is the 25th year that The Women’s Edge – a Boston-based nonprofit organization devoted to advancing women in leadership positions — created the list through a nomination process and reviewed both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations, and the 13th year that the list was created in collaboration with The Boston Globe. In addition to revenue or operating budget, factors considered in the evaluation included workplace and management diversity, board makeup, and innovative projects. The full list has been published in the Globe Magazine’s Women & Power issue at bostonglobe.com/magazine on October 24th and in print on October 26th.
