ALL ARE WELCOME | OUR COMMITMENT TO INCLUSION
Equity is at the core of our work at The Women’s Edge. The Commonwealth Institute (our founding name) was established to connect, support and advance women business leaders, who have been historically underrepresented in the business world. While significant progress has been made since our founding, women still face unique challenges and barriers throughout their careers, and the need for community, resources, and support remains.
The Women’s Edge strives to transform the business world into a more equitable space, that empowers all people to succeed, and embraces differences in gender identity, race, ethnicity, age, religion, sexual orientation, disability status, etc.
Inclusivity is paramount to our organization. We are committed to ensuring that every member feels valued in our community. All business leaders are welcome – those who identify as women or nonbinary, and those who identify as men and others, who can engage and support us as allies. We encourage all members of our community to bring their authentic selves and open minds to foster genuine connection, strong community, and real progress.
OUR STORY
In 1997, Lois Silverman assembled a group of women CEOs with the goal of helping each other learn, grow and succeed.
