The Impact Award recognizes influential women leaders from organizations of 50 or fewer employees, making a significant impact.

The Women’s Edge, Inc. announced five awardee organizations as part of the 1st annual Impact Awards, honoring women leaders and their organizations in Massachusetts whose impact far exceeds their size.  These organizations have been selected as key influencers for their significant impact with the advancement of women leaders, diversity, equity, and inclusion across Massachusetts and globally. The honorees were recognized during The Women’s Edge 24th annual Top 100 Women-Led Businesses Awards celebration on November 1.

The 2024 honorees are Nicole Obi, Black Economic Council of Massachusetts (BECMA), Lauren Cook, Ellis Early Learning, Deb Fowler, History UnErased, Rose Staram, Rosemark Production, and Christina Gordon, Women’s Foundation of Boston.

“We are so pleased to present a new award category honoring women-led organizations that are focused on making significant impact to advance and shine a light on all women leaders.” said The Women’s Edge Chief Executive Officer, Elizabeth L. Hailer. “Together, we are redefining what it means to lead with inclusivity and build workplace cultures where all belong.”

2024 marks the inaugural year for The Women’s Edge Impact Awards. The 2024 Top 100 women were asked to nominate leaders and organizations that are making a difference in the development and advancement of all women. Workplace culture, management diversity, board makeup, and innovative programs were also key selection criteria.
